What I’d do if I had to start my health journey all over…

(None have anything to do with diet or exercise)⁣

Chronic digestive issues, auto-immune disease, monster cravings, addiction, depression and ZERO clue…⁣

Here’s what I’d tell me if I was starting from scratch:⁣

1. HYDRATE like your life depends on it 💦 ⁣
Every single cell in your body needs water to function. ✋🏼 (Read that again.) ⁣

Your cells/tissues/organs can’t do their job without proper hydration. Hydration doesn’t work without water + electrolytes. And trust me, you aren’t getting enough. 🚰⁣

Drinking filtered water with a pinch of unrefined sea salt may be the solution to your problems. 🧂⁣

2. Nurture your MICROBIOME 🦠 ⁣
There are trillions of bacteria living in your large intestine controlling your mood, poop, immune response, bloating and so much more. ⁣

Think of them as puppeteers pulling on your brain’s command strings, manipulating your body to do exactly what they want. ⁣

Some use their powers for good, some use them for evil. 😇👿⁣

Good bacteria help to produce happy chemicals like serotonin (you need this.) ⁣

… and bad ones make you crave sugar, alcohol and empty carbs to help them grow big & strong (you don't need this).⁣

Feed the good ones and starve the bad. ✔️⁣

3. CALM yourself 🧘🏻⁣

When the body experiences stress, it tells the adrenals to stimulate Cortisol to prepare us to fight or fly (great for immediate threats) 👊🏻⁣

…but under CHRONIC stress, it taps your reserves and causes your digestion to MALFUNCTION. ⁣

(Ps. Your body doesn’t know the difference between a lion chasing you and a food intolerance…) 🙀⁣

Reducing stress through:⁣
- yoga⁣
- deep breaths⁣
- learning to love your imperfections⁣
- listening to your body⁣
- drinking less coffee/alcohol⁣
- getting quality sleep ⁣
- & THC/CBD ⁣

... will be GAME CHANGERS for your mental + digestive health. 🗝⁣

Remember: If your body can’t digest + absorb nutrients, you cannot HEAL. 💖 ⁣
